Dedicated Email - Tuesday - 11/3/2026 - Texas Monthly - BBQ Fest

Get ready for a weekend packed with barbecue, live music, and Texas flavor! Texas Monthly BBQ Fest returns to Lockhart, Texas, November 7–8 for two days celebrating all things smoked, slow-cooked, and delicious.

The festivities kick off November 7 with the BBQ World’s Fair—a free, open-to-the-public celebration featuring a lineup of award-winning barbecue joints, tacos, artisan market vendors, cooking demonstrations, live music headlined by Shinyribs, and plenty more. Bring the whole family and enjoy the Kids Zone, too!

Then, on November 8, the weekend’s signature event brings together 36 of the state’s top barbecue joints, all featured on Texas Monthly’s 50 Best BBQ Joints in Texas list, for the Top 50 Picnic, including all of the featured top 10. It’s a rare chance to try them all in one place! Come hungry for hot meats, cold beers, and live music. VIP tickets are sold out, but general admission tickets are still available!

A portion of ticket sales benefits Feeding Texas, helping fight hunger across the state.
